Sant Antoni runs five stores and an online shop on a third-party management system. The question was whether a system of their own could cover the basics for under 50 dollars a month: electronic invoicing with the Argentine tax agency, real-time stock across stores and a point of sale in each one. And to design it from day one so other companies could use it later.
I got the point of sale working with a full sale end to end, plus e-invoicing, per-store inventory, purchasing and suppliers, accounting with a general ledger and balance sheet, cash and bank accounts, reports, a customer portal and a Tiendanube connection to pull in products, customers and orders.
It’s on hold now because the brand made the wholesale portal a priority. It stayed a prototype, but the groundwork is there: each company only sees its own data, and that’s enforced by the database, not just the screens.
