BRAVA Fútbol

BRAVA covers women’s football from around the world, in Spanish. It needed two things that don’t always go together: sports data that’s always up to date (standings, fixtures, squads) and a newsroom able to publish quickly in two languages.

I built it end to end. There are pages for every league, national team, club and player, a match calendar and knockout brackets with two-legged ties. Everything exists in Spanish and English. For the newsroom I built a custom admin with an editor where you can paste posts from X or Instagram, plus a tool that gathers sources and drafts an article with AI for someone to review and finish.

The data comes from a sports API, with a second source as backup and everything cached. That way we don’t depend on a single provider or overpay for every request.
