Sant Antoni’s wholesale customers used to buy through an outside platform, disconnected from the brand’s management system. The idea was to build a portal of their own where that system (Dragonfish) is in charge: the catalog, stock and prices come from there, and orders go back there.

Anyone can browse the catalog, but prices only show up once your account is approved. To order there’s a size by color grid, which turns into an accordion on phones. The cart checks stock and prices on the server, and each order keeps its number and the price at the time. We brought over 429 customers and photos for 280 products from the old platform, and each customer set a new password.

At first, syncing with Dragonfish took about 15 minutes because it requested products one at a time. I rewrote it to fetch them in pages, and now it takes under 3.
